Kit content : - 9 rolls of plaster bandages
                    - 1 jar of belly jelly

• STEP 1 : Take out the rolls of plaster bandages

• STEP 2 : Using scissors, cut the bandages into 3 different lengths
- 15 to 20 cm (6 to 8 inches) for the chest
- 30 to 40 cm (12 to 16 inches) for the waist
- 45 to 60 cm (18 to 24 inches) for the belly
These measurements are just to give you an idea and depend on your size.

• STEP 3 : Smear a generous layer of belly jelly over all the parts of your body which you wish to include in your impression. Your upper body must be naked; however, if you wish to, you can keep on pants (nothing too delicate) while making the impression.

• STEP 4 : Fill a bowl with water at an ambient temperature. The hotter the water, the faster the setting process; conversely, colder water slows it down.

• STEP 5 : You are advised to protect your floor with a plastic sheet or to make your cast in a room with a floor surface that is easy to clean (tiles or linoleum).

• STEP 6 : Soak a plaster bandage in the bowl of water for a few seconds – do not let go otherwise it will bunch up.

• STEP 7 : Gently wring out the bandage while avoiding getting it bunched up.

• STEP 8 : Apply the plaster bandage gently but firmly to your body, starting from the top of your body.

• STEP 9 : Gently smooth the bandage with your fingers to make it stick firmly to the body.

• STEP 10 : When applying subsequent bandages, ensure that each bandage overlaps the previous one enough so that you end up with a final thickness of at least 3 or 4 layers to ensure that the impression is solid.

• STEP 11 : To make a uniform impression, after applying a few bandages on top of one another, you are advised to smooth out the bandages well with wet hands.

• STEP 12 : You have to make your impression at a speed that does not give the plaster time to set too soon.

• STEP 13 : After having applied enough layers of bandages and once you are satisfied with the result, let the cast dry for 10 to 15 minutes before removing it.

• STEP 14 : The impression will start to lift from the skin by itself, meaning that it is solid enough to be removed gently.

• STEP 15 : If you wish, you can also decorate your cast, but first you have to let it dry for at least 72 hours.

• STEP 16 : You are advised to rub the cast gently with emery paper first to make it smooth. If some bandages stick out, you can cut them or use emery paper to make adjustments. You can also strengthen the cast by adding some wet bandages to the inside. Finally you can decorate your impression using acrylic paint or apply a layer of varnish.
